From the 20th to the 24th of February 2017, YEP partners met in Madrid, hosted by Agencía para el empleo de Madrid and Acción contra el Hambre, to share and exchange practices and ideas to promote youth entrepreneurship.
The agenda included:
– Discussions and proposals on how to reach and involve young people in YEP and on partner organisations’ entrepreneurship training and incubation programmes.
– Visits to business opened by participants who attended the employment and entrepreneurship programmes of the two Spanish organisations – a candy shop and an ecobar – plus to the Entrepreneurship Fair in Madrid.
– Presentations by external experts of entrepreneurship and start up methodologies – like the Lean Start up method – and about the Solidary and Inclusive Economy.
– Discussions and proposals about the role of not-for-profit organisations in promoting youth entrepreneurship and about the joint entrepreneurship training programme to carry out in the three cities with young people.
Next time, partners will meet in Lisbon in May 2017.
